Interaction with lighting fixtures is a requirement in several situations. Our designs are used to trigger a call from lighting points in hotels, beaches, restaurants, or connected to devices used in home care for the elderly.
INTERACTIVITY
LIGHT CALL
Interaction between devices requires a stable connection infrastructure, able to work even at distances considered inappropriate for protocols such as WiFi or Bluetooth. WiDesign designs devices to initiate a call to an app or trigger a beacon for confirmation, which can be activated by buttons or the keys of a switch while maintaining two-way functionality.
INTERACTIVITY
BUTTON CALL
On a daily basis, indicator lights alert us that a wash is finished or there is no oil in the engine. WiDesign believes that light signaling, along with monitoring apps, can be useful in many other situations. For example, an accessory next to the bed or chair can light up to remind someone living alone to take medication. The light can be stopped at the touch of a button.
INTERACTIVITY
ANSWER
In contrast to normal call buttons, the WiDesign one involves two-way communication. For example, pressing one of the buttons in the accessory network, it is identified on the map of the management app and can initiates a light signal from the device as confirmation of receipt.
INTERACTIVITY
REMOTE
A connected device can provide numerous utility cues, in addition to bidirectional signaling it could be a switch. Easy, if you’re within a room or a house, but the WiDesign solutions allow you to manage the on-off even from miles away and without phone coverage, employing appropriate transmission and signal management technologies.
